Hello Freddy, thank you for being here with us today. To start, happy early birthday! You'll be turning 19 on May 25th. How do you plan to celebrate this special day?

Hello, thank you for having me, thank you very much! I would love to celebrate it with my family and loved ones, but due to the remaining matches, I won't be able to this year.

You have recently been called up by the Cuban national team. How do you feel about it and what does it mean to you to represent your country in international football?

First of all, I am very grateful to the Cuban federation and the technical staff for the call-up and the support they have given me. I am very proud to be able to represent my mother's country. For me, it means immense happiness to wear Cuba's colors because of the happiness and joy it brings, just as my mother taught me since I was young.

You play for Imolese Calcio 1919. How has your experience at the club been and what do you enjoy most about playing in Italy?

At first, it was quite difficult due to the type of football played here, which is a bit more physical, but in the end, you adapt, and Italian football turns out to be quite beautiful.

As a young footballer, what challenges have you faced and how have you overcome them to get to where you are now?

I started playing football at the age of four in my hometown team. After several years at that club, I progressed and signed with various clubs in Mallorca until I played for three years in the RCD Mallorca youth academy. My next step was deciding to play in Italy. These have been years of sacrifices and also satisfactions, but I am really doing what I like and enjoy, which is playing football.

Backstage is supporting you in your career. Can you tell us more about this collaboration and how it has benefited you?

Backstage is a group of people offering me their support and trust to make the best decisions and guide me in the best possible way. I am really very happy and can only show my sincerest gratitude for this.

How do you combine your Cuban and Spanish roots in your playing style? Is there any particular player that inspires you?

I actually handle it very well. I try to play with the Cuban spirit, with attitude, grit, and ambition to improve as much as I can, and at the same time, I try to overcome any kind of adversity that may arise, and above all, enjoy and have fun doing what I like, which is what I have learned from Spanish football. As for the players who inspire me, I could mention many, but I have always had great admiration for Ronaldinho, Romario, and Robinho. In Cuban football, I admire several players, but I have great admiration for my friend and teammate Dairon Reyes.

At only 19 years old, you have already achieved a lot. What are your short and long-term goals in your football career?

My short-term goals are to reach the highest level possible in Italy and achieve what every player dreams of, which is playing in Serie A. With the national team, my goal is to make my debut and win all possible titles. In the long term, I want to dedicate myself to football for as long as possible and enjoy all the good moments this sport offers me.

What advice would you give to other young players aspiring to reach professional levels in football?

To work hard, make an effort, and never give up. There will be good and bad moments, but they shouldn't stop trying and striving to achieve their dreams.

Playing abroad at a young age can be challenging. How do you adapt to different cultures and lifestyles in the countries where you play?

Yes, it is quite challenging to leave home at such a young age, but at the same time, it is a great experience to learn about other cultures and languages. These experiences enrich you as a person and help you mature and grow. I always try to adapt wherever I go, whether it is another city, country, or club. It is always a challenge to meet new people, learn a language, and understand other cultures and customs.

I would like to show my gratitude to all the people who follow and support me, and especially thank the Cuban national team fans for the affection they have shown me. They have made me very happy. Thank you all, and I hope to see you soon.
